The BIG Irony of Life

I'm writing my detailed plan for ESCAPE...the econs soc camp. As I write the more pissed I become. Because I have to lie. Because if I write what I am REALLY going to do its most likely not going to be approved. Because it does not really comply with the guidelines. Oh well.. I've plan a few activities outside of school. Where they want most if not ALL of activities in school. I'm pissed. Because Singapore is a boring enough place. What more a SMALL piece of Singapore called NUS? How do you expect interesting activities to be planned with your stupid guidelines? How do you expect us undergraduates to be creative? When you seek to confine us all the time? We are adults for god's sake and freshmen are also adults! If not young adults. Alrite...there are a few nut cracks out there...but... this bureacratic nonsense is getting too much. Everywhere is redtape. And things don't move because people hide behind the redtape and don't do anything. I feel sick because I have to lie to get my camp approved. Why can't I just tell the truth and have the assurance that the adminstration look at it and not just crumple it up without truly understanding what I am trying to do. It is an irony...that we say we are world class...that we say we are different from others... that we say that we let you follow your dreams... when I have to lie to get my camp approved. And still worry that it does not get approved.
